Sueños de un hombre inyectado

Born from a course project titled "Dreams & Nightmares," this photographic series documents the one-year milestone of testosterone injections and hormonal gender-affirming care.

 

Driven by a desire to capture a deeply personal facet of the transgender experience, the series explores the transformative—and often painful—process of hormonal transitioning. Graphic yet essential, these images confront the physical realities of injection, the emotional weight of gender-affirming care, and the urgent conversations surrounding today’s increasingly hostile political climate toward transgender individuals.

 

The photographs are titled as follows: (1) Colgado [Hung], (2) Testosterona [Testosterone], (3) Inyección [Injection], (4) Un año liberado [One year liberated]
